Today we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank the heart of our school — our amazing counselors 💙
Mrs. Austin, Mrs. Hudson, and Mrs. Worthy, thank you for being the steady listeners, the encouragers, the problem-solvers, and the safe place for so many of our students and families. You support academic growth, social-emotional wellness, and personal development with patience, compassion, and care every single day.
Your work often happens quietly, but its impact is powerful and lasting. We are so grateful for the guidance, kindness, and dedication you bring to our school community. Thank you for all you do — today and always! 🌟

Upson Lee Elementary School will take the new Georgia School Climate Survey this year. Each parent or guardian is invited to take the family version to answer questions about the current school or schools you have a child or children attending. If two or more children attend the same school, please only complete one survey for that school.
The survey measures what you think about how the school engages with families. Answers are not linked to names in any way. When typing answers, please do not give names or information that you don’t want to share with this school. Data will be shared with school leaders to help improve the school and will be published on the GaDOE website.
Please help by sharing your honest opinion on this 22-question survey. To take the survey, please click this link: https://survey.gadoe.org/FM?sid=4AB8D111

2nd Nine Weeks Citizenship recipients

We are so proud of our three poetry recitation winners who represented their grade levels with confidence, strong voices, and impressive performances! These students stood out and have earned the opportunity to advance to the next level of competition at Griffin RESA in February.
Help us congratulate our winners as they continue their poetry journey—we can’t wait to cheer them on! Brentlee Ragsdale, Jackson Fields, Madison Batchelor

Can we get two claps and a Rick Flair (Woooooo!) for these rising stars? Upson-Lee has been, is, and always will be a powerhouse of athletic talent. Before the Holidays, the students wrapped up the FitGA fitness test. These students went above and beyond the passing scores and achieved the Triple Crown. The Triple Crown is obtained by doing over 15 pushups (girls) 20 pushups (boys), over 60 sit ups, and on the 20m pacer test (roughly the length of a basketball court) over 40 for girls and 50 for the boys. These young athletes shined brightly and truly embodied what it means to be an Upson-Lee Knight.
Upson-Lee is truly one of the best in the state when it comes to producing not only outstanding athletes, but even better people. Thank you, parents, for pushing your kids to be the best in everything they do! Go UL 💜🖤
