We had lots of fun in small groups today! Mrs. Ashley’s group played 🐻 Bears in the Bed. We rolled two dice, placed that many bears in the bunk bed, and then counted to see how many bears in all. (We read Goldilocks and the 3 Bears today.) Mrs. Krystal’s group made 🐷 3 Little Pigs Shape houses to review 2d shapes and wrote how many of each shape they used. (Tomorrow we’ll read The Three Little Pigs.) Fairytales are one of our favorite themes in pre-k! 💖 We rotate small group days so our third small group will get to do one of these activities tomorrow!

This is called Spiderweb Salt Painting Craft students will trace the web with glue and with teacher’s assistance add some salt to cover up the glue, students will then shake off the access of salt after drying over night, students will dip their paintbrush in the watercolor paint and gently touch it to the salt that they wish to color and allow the salt to soak up the paint.
